How to Get Driving License?

The Western India Automobile Association offices located at Mumbai Pune and Ahmedabad are currently issuing IDP to Western India Automobile Association Apply members only Western India Automobile Association

Step one become member of Western India Automobile Association Apply online for membership or visit Western India Automobile Association office

Second Step download I D P form fills it and walk in to Western India Automobile Associations Mumbai Pune or Ahmedabad office

Eligibility Criteria

Get your Western India Automobile Association Membership card

Get the form and check the lists of countries that recognize the 1949 CONVENTION INTERNATIONAL DRIVING PERMIT apply if you are traveling to any one of these countries only.

The Indian driving license issued at Mumbai Pune Ahmedabad for the respective location of application and valid Indian Passport with Mumbai Pune Ahmedabad for the respective location of application.

Carry four recent passport size photographs photo size thirty five cm x thirty five cm

Submit above documents and fee of rupees 800 at Western India Automobile Association Cash counter Cash or Cheque in Favor of Western India Automobile Association

Payable at the application location Mumbai Pune Ahmedabad

The post verification of your documents you can collect your IDP as per the deadline provided while submitting the documents. Normally the IDP will be processed and issued within a one day or two days of the document submission

Important notice for the applicant

Processing time is two working days from the date of application submitted to Western India Automobile Association Hence please submit your documents well in advance to before you plan to depart.

Western India Automobile Association reserves the right to reject applications in the event that applicants fail to produce or submit the necessary documents. The address on Passport and Driving License must be same as per the location and Identification card of the application.

IDP is valid for one year only if you are already abroad at the time when your IDP is about to expire then the IDP cannot be renewed until you travel back to your location of application. Western India Automobile Association advises you to plan your IDP application accordingly to serve you better.
